The Winnipeg Jets announced Saturday they have signed goaltender Philippe Desrosiers to a one-year, two-way contract with a $750,000 average annual value.

Desrosiers has split this season between the Manitoba Moose of the American Hockey League and the Trois-Rivieres Lions of the ECHL.

The 25-year-old from Saint-Hyacinthe, Que., was selected in the second round, 54th overall, by the Dallas Stars in 2013.

Although Desrosiers has yet to play in the NHL, he spent the 2020-21 season on the Florida Panthers taxi squad.
