There will be no more turning back of the clocks in Manitoba and the Winnipeg Jets' schedule is being adjusted as a result.
The Manitoba government announced on Thursday that the province will stay on daylight saving time permanently. The change means Manitoba clocks will be on Central Time in the summer and Eastern Time in the winter.
The change has led the Jets to push back the start time for 12 home games this season.
The games that have been affected and their new times are as follows:
Sat, Nov. 21 vs. Vegas at 7 p.m.
Mon, Nov. 23 vs. Utah at 7:30 p.m.
Mon, Nov. 30 vs. Chicago at 7:30 p.m.
Sat, Dec. 19 vs. Dallas at 7 p.m.
Mon, Dec. 28 vs. San Jose at 7:30 p.m.
Sat, Jan. 2 vs. Calgary at 7 p.m.
Sat, Jan. 9 vs. Utah at 7 p.m.
Sat, Jan. 16 vs. Anaheim at 7 p.m.
Sun, Jan. 24 vs. Buffalo at 3 p.m.
Wed, Feb. 17 vs. Los Angeles at 7:30 p.m.
Mon, March 1 vs. Seattle at 7 p.m.
Sat, March 13 vs. Nashville at 3:30 p.m.
The Jets open the regular season on Oct. 2 at home against the Boston Bruins.
