The Winnipeg Jets were able to sneak in a minor deal ahead of the NHL trade deadline.
Veteran forward Tanner Pearson has been traded to the Buffalo Sabres for a 2026 seventh-round pick, the Jets announced Friday.
The 33-year-old has seven goals and 13 points in 52 games this season.
Pearson joined the Jets on a one-year, $1 million deal this past off-season.
Winnipeg, currently sitting 27th in the NHL, made another deal with the Sabres on Thursday, trading defencemen Luke Schenn and Logan Stanley for Isak Rosen, Jacob Bryson and two draft picks.
