The Winnipeg Jets acquired defenceman Markus Phillips from the Los Angeles Kings for defenceman Nelson Nogier on Monday.

Phillips has one goal and four assists in 38 games with the Ontario Reign of the American Hockey League this season.

The 23-year-old Phillips was drafted by the Kings in the fourth round, 118th overall, in 2017 and has yet to play in the NHL.

Nogier has also spent the season in the minors producing three goals and three assists in 25 games with the AHL's Manitoba Moose. The Kings assigned Nogier to the Reign.

The 25-year-old Nogier was selected in the fourth round, 101st overall, by the Jets in 2014 and played 11 games with the club.
