After helping the Colorado Avalanche win a Stanley Cup, defenceman Josh Manson has decided to remain with the team on a four-year deal worth $4.5 million each season.
Manson was acquired by the Avalanche in a deal with the Anaheim Ducks prior to last season's trade deadline.
Manson had three goals and five assists in 20 playoff games for the Avalanche.
For the season, he had a combined six goals and 10 assists in 67 games for Anaheim and Colorado.
The six-foot-three Manson has 120 points (28 goals, 82 assists) in 475 career NHL games with the Ducks and Avalanche.
