The Los Angeles Kings will be without forward Viktor Arvidsson for Game 1 of their first-round series against the Edmonton Oilers on Monday.

Arvidsson did not take part in the pre-game line rushes with Alek Iafallo taking his spot on the second line with Phillip Danault and Trevor Moore.

According to Lisa Dillman of The Athletic, Arvidsson left practice on Saturday and did not participate in the morning skate. Head coach Todd McLellan said there was a good chance Arvidsson would be able to play. It was not immediately known why Arvidsson sat out.

In 66 games this season, Arvidsson had 20 goals and 49 points
