Brian Dumoulin will bring quite a bit of Stanley Cup experience to Hollywood.
The 33-year-old defenceman has signed a three-year, $12 million deal with the Los Angeles Kings, Sportsnet's Elliotte Friedman reported Tuesday.
Dumoulin won back-to-back Stanley Cups with the Pittsburgh Penguins in 2016 and ‘17. He was with Pittsburgh from 2013 to 2023.
The Carolina Hurricanes picked Dumoulin in the second round (51st overall) of the 2009 NHL Draft, but he was dealt to the Penguins prior to the start of his pro career.
Dumoulin finished last season with the New Jersey Devils, who acquired him in a deadline deal with the Anaheim Ducks. He had three goals and 19 assists in 80 combined regular-season games.
The six-foot-four American has 28 goals and 149 assists in 706 career games for the Penguins, Seattle Kraken, Ducks and Devils.
