The Los Angeles Kings are adding some depth along their blue line.
Defenceman Samuel Bolduc has signed a one-year, two-way contract with the Kings worth $775,000 at the NHL level, the team announced Wednesday.
Bolduc, 24, has spent his entire career with the New York Islanders, splitting time between the NHL and AHL levels.
He had nine goals and 26 assists in 69 games with the Bridgeport Islanders in the AHL and made one appearance with New York, but was held without a point.
Since being drafted 57th overall in the 2019 NHL Draft, the Laval, Que. native has four goals and four assists in 52 appearances with New York.
