The Los Angeles Kings are adding some depth to their forward corps.
Centre Logan Brown has signed on with the Kings on a one-year, two-way contract worth $775,000 at the NHL level, the team announced Wednesday.
Brown, 27, spent last season playing with the Syracuse Crunch, the Tampa Bay Lightning's AHL affiliate.
He potted 11 goals and 18 assists through 33 regular-season games and had one assist in three post-season games.
He last made an appearance at the NHL level in the 2022-23 season while playing with the St. Louis Blues. He had two goals and four assists in 30 games that year.
Since being drafted 11th overall by the Ottawa Senators in 2016, the Raleigh, N.C. native has seven goals and 19 assists in 19 NHL games split between the Senators and Blues.
