The Los Angeles Kings have signed forward Jack Studnicka to a one-year, two-way contract worth $775,000.
Studnicka, 25, split the 2023-24 season between the Vancouver Canucks and San Jose Sharks organizations. In 22 NHL games, he scored one goal, and in 36 AHL games, he totalled seven goals and 21 points.
Originally a second-round pick in the 2017 draft, Studnicka has played in five separate NHL seasons with the Sharks, Canucks and Boston Bruins. He has played in 107 games, scoring six goals and handing out 10 assists.
He was named an AHL All-Star for his efforts in the 2019-20 season when he scored 23 goals and registered 26 assists.
