The Seattle Kraken have re-signed forward Eeli Tolvanen to a two-year, $6.95 million contract, the team announced Friday.
Tolvanen, who was a restricted free agent, tallied career highs of 25 assists and 41 points in 81 games this past season.
“Eeli has been an important part of our organization since joining the Kraken two seasons ago,” Kraken general manager Ron Francis said in a release. “We’re excited to have him remain a part of our team and are looking forward to his continued growth as a player.”
The 25-year-old from Vihti, Finland, was drafted in the first round, 30th overall, by the Nashville Predators in 2017. He was claimed off waivers by the Kraken in December 2022.
Tolvanen has recorded 119 points (57 goals and 62 assists) in 264 career games over six seasons with the Predators and Kraken.
