Kraken trade MacDermid to Avalanche for 2023 draft pick

The Seattle Kraken have traded defenceman Kurtis MacDermid to the Colorado Avalanche in exchange for a fourth round pick in the 2023 NHL Draft.

The Kraken selected MacDermid from the Los Angeles Kings in the 2021 NHL Expansion Draft.

Playing in Los Angeles all four years of his NHL career, MacDermid had four points in 28 games for the Kings last season, tallying two goals and two assists.
