The Seattle Kraken will be without one of their top young forwards for the next three games.
Seattle said Saturday that Berkly Catton will be out until the Olympic break with an upper-body injury.
Catton left Thursday's game against the Toronto Maple Leafs after taking a hit up-high from defenceman Oliver Ekman-Larsson in the first period and didn't return.
The hit came as Catton reached out to try to poke the puck into the Maple Leafs' end. His head was down and made contact with Ekman-Larsson's hip.
Catton had played just 3:12 before being forced to leave.
The 20-year-old rookie has five goals and six assists in 40 games this season.
