The Tampa Bay Lightning re-signed goaltender Maxime Lagace to a one-year, two-way contract on Monday, vice president and general manager Julien BriseBois announced.

The native of Saint-Augustin, Que., only appeared in two games with the club last season, but played in 36 with their AHL team, the Syracuse Crunch, where he had a 23-9-2 record with a 2.31 goals-against average and a .910 save percentage with four shutouts.

Lagace, 29, has played in 20 career NHL games with the Lightning, Pittsburgh Penguins and the Vegas Golden Knights, registering a 8-9-1 record.
