The Tampa Bay Lightning have signed forward Micheal Eyssimont to a two-year, one-way contract extension on Friday. Eyssimont will earn $800,000 annually.
The Bolts had acquired Eyssimont from the San Jose Sharks for Vladislav Namestnikov in the leadup to the trade deadline.
The 26-year-old split this past season between the Winnipeg Jets, Sharks and Lightning, collecting 15 points (five goals, 10 assists) in 54 games. He played in three games for Tampa in their first-round playoff series against the Toronto Maple Leafs. picking up one assist.
