The Tampa Bay Lightning added some forward depth on Thursday.
Team Germany's Wojciech Stachowiak signed a one-year entry-level contract with the club, it announced.
Stachowiak was born in Poland but competes for the German team internationally. He led Germany with three goals in seven games at the world championships.
The 25-year-old played in a German pro league (DEL) last season, recording 10 goals and 30 points in 52 games.
Standing six-foot-one and 187 pounds, Stachowiak has played 289 career games in the DEL, compiling 42 goals and 104 points.
