The Minnesota Wild have acquired defenceman Zach Bogosian from the Tampa Bay Lightning in exchange for a seventh-round pick, the team announced Wednesday.
The move comes shortly after the Wild shipped defenceman Calen Addison off to the San Jose Sharks in exchange for forward Adam Raska and a 2026 fifth-round pick.
Bogosian is in his 15th NHL season. This season, he has zero points in four games for the Lightning. The 33-year-old defenceman has 57 goals and 213 points in 787 career NHL games.
The trade also moves Bogosian to the same team as his brother, Aaron, who works in the Wild's analytics department.
Minnesota has started the season 5-5-2 and is fifth in the Central Division.
