The Tampa Bay Lightning will have a familiar face in the lineup when they take on the Toronto Maple Leafs.
Corey Perry, who was acquired ahead of the trade deadline on Friday from the Los Angeles Kings, told the media in Toronto that he will play on Saturday despite landing at 4 a.m. ET.
Perry spent two seasons with the Lightning from 2021-23, logging 31 goals and 34 assists.
The 40-year-old registered 11 goals and 17 assists with the Kings this season after signing a one-year deal with the club in the off-season.
Over his 21-year career, Perry totalled 963 points (459 goals, 504 assists) in 1,442 games, with an additional 141 points (64 goals, 77 assists) in 237 post-season contests.
