There's another injury concern for Victor Hedman.
The Tampa Bay Lightning star defenceman didn't return for the second period Tuesday against the Montreal Canadiens and later was ruled out with an undisclosed injury.
Hedman just returned to the lineup last Saturday after missing 12 games with an undisclosed injury.
After the team's win, coach Jon Cooper told reporters Hedman had aggravated something and would be re-evaluated.
The Swedish standout has 12 assists in 18 games this season.
The Lightning have been battling the injury bug this season. Goalie Andrei Vasilevskiy is on injured reserve, while Brayden Point and Nikita Kucherov just returned to the lineup Monday,
Hedman, 34, won the Norris Trophy in 2018 as the league's top defenceman and is a four-time all-star. He won the Conn Smythe Trophy as playoff MVP in 2020, leading the Lightning to their first of two straight Stanley Cups.
