Brandon Tanev will represent his third team in just a matter of months.
After suiting up for both the Seattle Kraken and the Winnipeg Jets last season, Tanev is now joining the Utah Mammoth on a three-year, $7.5-million deal, the team announced Tuesday.
The 33-year-old winger was traded to Winnipeg — the team he started his career with — by Seattle at the 2025 NHL Trade Deadline on March 7.
He had 17 points (nine goals and eight assists) in 60 games with the Kraken, then collected five points (one goal and four assists) in 19 games with the Jets.
The Toronto native also appeared in all 13 of the Jets' post-season games.
Across 552 career NHL games with the Jets, Kraken and Pittsburgh Penguins, Tanev has 84 goals and 96 assists for a total of 180 points.
