The Utah Mammoths are signing forward Ben McCartney to a two-year, two-way contract worth an annual average value of $775,000 at the NHL level, the team announced Wednesday.
McCartney, 23, finished with 16 goals and 17 assists for the AHL's Tucson Roadrunners in 2024-2025. He tied for the team lead in points (three) in three playoff games.
The Macdonald, Man., native previously signed a one-year, two-way contract with Utah in 2024.
McCartney was drafted by the Arizona Coyotes in the seventh round of the 2020 NHL Draft.
In 2021, McCartney made his NHL debut with the Coyotes. He skated in two games.
