The Toronto Maple Leafs have added some forward depth, signing Benoit-Olivier Groulx to a two-year deal with a $812,500 cap hit, the team announced Tuesday.
Groulx, 25, appeared in 47 games in the AHL with the Hartford Wolf Pack last season, scoring 15 goals and 37 points. Prior to that, he played in 45 games with the Anaheim Ducks in 2023-24, registering two assists.
In 65 career games with Anaheim, he has registered one goal and five points.
Groulx was originally selected in the second round of the 2018 NHL Draft by the Ducks.
