The Toronto Maple Leafs have assigned forward Nick Robertson and defender Timothy Liljegren to their taxi squad, the club announced Saturday.
Robertson, who’s been dealing with an oblique injury as of late, has two goals and nine points through 10 games with the Maple Leafs’ AHL affiliate. The 19-year-old has one big-league game on his resumé this season, as well.
Liljegren has seven points through 11 games for the Marlies, and has yet to play for the big club this year after logging 11 NHL games last season.
Defenceman Kristians Rubins, meanwhile, has been reassigned to the Marlies.
