Toronto Maple Leafs defenceman Jake Muzzin will not be making his return to the lineup on Monday against the Carolina Hurricanes, head coach Sheldon Keefe said.

Muzzin has missed the Leafs' last six games with the injury and was set to be re-evaluated after the All-Star break.

The 32-year-old was on the receiving end of a hard hit into the end boards by St. Louis Blues forward Klim Kostin back on Jan. 15. Muzzin remained in the game after the hit and was not removed by a concussion spotter.

In 35 games this season, Muzzin has a goal and 11 points and is second on the team in ice time among skates averaging 21:22.
