The Toronto Maple Leafs continue to get healthy bodies back.
Scott Laughton skated on the fourth line at practice with Steven Lorentz and Max Domi, and could be in line to make his season debut against the Utah Mammoth on Wednesday (8 p.m. / 5 p.m. PT, Sportsnet, Sportsnet+).
Laughton hasn’t played a game this season since being injured in the pre-season.
Lorentz would also be returning after suffering an upper-body injury against the Columbus Blue Jackets on Oct. 29.
With Laughton returning, it looks like Sammy Blais, who skated as an extra at practice, would sit while Calle Jarnkrok would come out for Lorentz.
Also back skating on a regular line at practice was Matias Maccelli, who was on the third line with Nicolas Roy and Dakota Joshua in place of Easton Cowan.
The Leafs rookie skated with Blais and Jarnkrok as extras, which would mean he would come out of the lineup for Maccelli.
Head coach Craig Berube also said that both Brandon Carlo and Anthony Stolarz will be good to play against Utah after they were absent from practice.
