With home-ice advantage for their first-round matchup clinched, the Toronto Maple Leafs will be resting Morgan Rielly and T.J. Brodie against the Montreal Canadiens.
Rielly and Brodie were present for the morning skate but did not participate in regular line rushes. Forward Calle Jarnkrok will not play as he is day-to-day with an injury.
Defenceman Erik Gustafsson draws back into the lineup and will play with Luke Schenn after missing the last seven games while dealing with a family matter. Timothy Liljegren will also draw back into the lineup on a pairing with Mark Giordano.
Ilya Samsonov will start in goal with Matt Murray's status up in the air. Murray is improving since suffering a head injury against the Detroit Red Wings but head coach Sheldon Keefe said Saturday he is unsure if Murray will be available as a backup.
