Toronto Maple Leafs forward David Kampf will be a game-time decision for Wednesday's tilt against the Buffalo Sabres as he deals with an illness.
According to head coach Sheldon Keefe, an illness is once again running through the Maple Leafs locker room.
The 29-year-old was absent from practice on Tuesday for the same reason.
Currently in his third season with Toronto, Kampf has appeared in 57 games this season and has recorded 11 points (five goals and six assists).
Meanwhile, Mark Giordano was back to skating with the team at Wednesday morning's optional morning skate.
The 40-year-old defenceman has not played since Feb. 29 after suffering a concussion in a game against the Arizona Coyotes.
Keefe has not yet provided a timeline for Giordano's possible return but did share that he also took a solo skate on Tuesday.
Giordano has seven points (one goal and six assists) in 38 games for Toronto this season.
