The Toronto Maple Leafs will be without Morgan Rielly for Saturday's Battle of Ontario (7 p.m. ET / 4 p.m. PT on Sportsnet and Sportsnet+).
Head coach Craig Berube told reporters that Rielly is day-to-day with a lower-body injury after aggravating something in Friday's loss to the Carolina Hurricanes.
Philippe Myers will slot in the lineup in Rielly's place.
Rielly, 32, has played in 67 games for the Maple Leafs this season, with nine goals, 24 assists and a minus-17 rating.
The 13-year NHL veteran played 18:33 in the overtime defeat to Carolina, blocking four shots. It is unclear when he sustained the injury.
Myers has two assists in 34 games for Toronto in 2025-26, averaging 14:09 of ice time per contest. He last played on Tuesday against the New York Islanders.
Additionally, Berube is considering bringing Michael Pezzetta into the lineup, but said that it will be a game-time decision.
Pezzetta has played just two games for Toronto this season.
