Maple Leafs' Murray to return from injury Tuesday against Penguins

Maple Leafs head coach Sheldon Keefe confirms the plans for Matt Murray to return and start vs. his former mates, the Penguins, says he's very encouraged by him returning on the early side of his timeline, and he looks very much ready.

Toronto Maple Leafs goaltender Matt Murray will play against his former team, the Pittsburgh Penguins, on Tuesday, per head coach Sheldon Keefe.

Murray has played just one game this season, a loss to the Montreal Canadiens in the season opener on Oct. 12, before being placed on long-term injured reserve due to an adductor injury.

In the loss, Murray allowed four goals on 23 shots, recording a .826 save percentage.
