The Toronto Maple Leafs provided updates on three players Thursday.
Star forward William Nylander missed practice, but head coach Craig Berube said it was just for maintenance, per Sportsnet's Luke Fox.
"Camp kind of stuff, you know, you get a little banged-up, but he's fine," Berube told reporters.
Meanwhile, defenceman Simon Benoit, sidelined with an upper-body injury, had a scheduled off day but is expected to skate Friday.
Forward Max Domi, who suffered a lower-body injury before training camp, is considered day-to-day and could make his pre-season debut Saturday against the Montreal Canadiens at home. He skated Thursday on a line with Auston Matthews and Matthew Knies.
Toronto faces Montreal on the road Thursday night. Watch the pre-season matchup on Sportsnet+ starting at 7 p.m. ET.
