Dennis Hildeby is headed back to the NHL.
The Toronto Maple Leafs recalled the goalie from the AHL's Toronto Marlies on an emergency basis on Monday.
Hildeby's recall comes two days after Anthony Stolarz was injured by a puck to throat during warmups ahead of a loss to the Ottawa Senators on Saturday.
Stolarz briefly visited the hospital before being released. He said Monday he lost his wind and experienced some swelling, but is now "fine."
"It happens. It's an occupational hazard. ... Just kinda shock, just kinda seized up. It was a little difficult to breathe and talk but after about 30-40 minutes it all started coming back to me," Stolarz said.
Hildeby, 24, has appeared in 19 games with the Maple Leafs this season, posting a .912 save percentage and 2.84 goals-against average. He's enjoyed similarly strong results with the Marlies at .901 and 2.54 over 17 games.
The Maple Leafs are back in action Tuesday when they visit the Boston Bruins.
