The Toronto Maple Leafs are adding some muscle ahead of an anticipated physical game against the Winnipeg Jets with Kyle Clifford drawing into the lineup.
Clifford was recalled from the AHL's Toronto Marlies with Filip Kral getting sent down. Pierre Engvall was getting some extra work after morning skate which suggests he will come out of the lineup for Clifford.
The 31-year-old has not appeared in a game this season but has played twice for the Marlies so far this season. Clifford appeared in 23 games with the Leafs last season registering three points.
