Maple Leafs recall Michael Hutchinson from AHL, will dress vs. Avalanche

The Toronto Maple Leafs have recalled goaltender Michael Hutchinson and will have him on the bench for Wednesday's game against the Colorado Avalanche.

Backup goaltender Joseph Woll did not participate in the team's morning skate and will not dress against Colorado, Sportsnet's Elliotte Friedman reporting Woll is "banged up." The 23-year-old last played on Nov. 26 and is 3-0-0 in all three starts this season with a 1.67 goals-against average and a .939 save percentage.

Hutchinson has appeared in two NHL games this season where he has a 4.57 goals-against average and .857 save percentage. In six games in the AHL with the Toronto Marlies, the 31-year-old is 2-2-2 with a 3.60 goals-against average and a .894 save percentage.

Petr Mrazek has been working his way back from a groin injury that sidelined him on Oct. 30. He is 1-1-0 with a .877 save percentage and a 4.20 goals-against average in his two appearances.
