Maple Leafs sign forward Zach Aston-Reese to one-year contract

The Toronto Maple Leafs have signed forward Zach Aston-Reese to a one-year contract worth $840,630 on Sunday.

Aston-Reese joined the Leafs during training camp on a professional try-out. The 28-year-old lined up for three pre-season games, notching one goal and one assist.

The Staten Island native played six seasons in the NHL and spent the 2021-22 campaign with the Anaheim Ducks, picking up three goals and one assist in 17 games.
