The Toronto Maple Leafs are bringing a young forward into the mix.
The team signed centre Miroslav Holinka to a three-year, entry-level contract, they announced on Tuesday.
Holinka was a fifth-round selection for the Maple Leafs at the 2024 NHL Draft, choosing the 19-year-old 151st overall.
The Cromeriz, Czechia, native spent last season with the WHL's Edmonton Oil Kings, where he registered 45 points in 47 games.
He represented Czechia internationally at the 2025 world juniors, where he had one goal and four points in seven games en route to a bronze medal.
