Riding a three-game losing streak, the Toronto Maple Leafs are shaking up their lineup.
Nick Robertson and Troy Stecher will both serve as healthy scratches on Monday against the Philadelphia Flyers, head coach Craig Berube told reporters.
"I have to make decisions on the lineup. I felt Nicky's game has dropped off, even before the break a little bit. He's going to get a reset today. Similar for Stecher," Berube said.
Returning to action in their places will be Steven Lorentz, who slotted on the fourth line next to Scott Laughton and Easton Cowan at morning skate, and Philippe Myers, who lined up next to Oliver Ekman-Larsson on the blue line.
Meanwhile, Auston Matthews and William Nylander were reunited on a top line alongside Bobby McMann.
Anthony Stolarz will start for the Maple Leafs after stopping all 12 shots he faced in relief of Joseph Woll during Saturday's 5-2 loss to the Ottawa Senators.
The Maple Leafs have fallen well out of the playoff picture, sitting 13th in the conference and eight points out of a wild-card berth.
The Flyers are just two points clear of Toronto in 11th place.
Both teams look to be sellers ahead of the trade deadline on Friday at 3 p.m. ET.
