The Toronto Maple Leafs are not making any changes as they look to bounce back in a pivotal Atlantic Division clash on Wednesday.
Head coach Craig Berube confirmed that Joseph Woll will get the start in goal against the Detroit Red Wings, and the Leafs won't be making any changes to the lineup.
Matthew Knies and Troy Stecher were both absent from practice on Tuesday, but both are confirmed to be good enough to play.
Knies was a game-time decision to play against the Minnesota Wild on Monday with an undisclosed injury.
Knies' 40 points are the third-most for Toronto this season, second on the team for assists (29) and fifth in goals (12). He's also tied for the team lead in power-play goals (four) and sits fourth in total hits (99) through his 46 appearances.
Woll has allowed five goals in back-to-back games and has a 11-5-3 record with a 2.90 goals-against average and a .910 save percentage in 20 games this season.
William Nylander also remains sidelined with a groin injury that has forced him to miss the last two games. He originally suffered the injury in an overtime loss against Mitch Marner and the Vegas Golden Knights last Thursday.
