The New Jersey Devils have signed defenceman Seamus Casey to a three-year, entry-level contract, the team announced Monday.
Casey, 20, wrapped up his sophomore season with the University of Michigan and registered seven goals and 45 points in 39 games.
The Miami-born Casey represented the United States during the past two World Junior Championship tournaments earning bronze last season and gold this year.
He was drafted in the second round, 46th overall, by the Devils in 2022.
