The New York Rangers have signed defenceman Casey Fitzgerald to a two-year, $1.55 million contract, the team announced Tuesday.
Fitzgerald, 27, played in 69 games for the Charlotte Checkers last season, tallying four goals and 17 assists for the Florida Panthers' AHL affiliate.
