The NHL announced Monday that it received zero positive COVID-19 tests from the results taken during the league’s fifth week of Phase 4 of its Return to Play, from Aug. 23 to 29.

Testing was administered on a daily basis to all members of clubs’ 52-member travelling parties, with 2,814 conducted in total.

This marks the fifth straight week the NHL has recorded zero positive tests since players convened in the league’s two secure zones for Phase 4 of its Return to Play plan.
