The NHL and NHLPA have announced that for the seventh consecutive week there have been no positive COVID-19 cases found in the playoff bubble.

The NHL tested all 52 members of the four remaining teams' travelling parties, for a total of 1,357 tests between Sept. 6 and 12. The NHL closed the Toronto bubble and moved all teams to Edmonton for the conference finals on Sept. 6.

On July 26, 24 teams travelled into the two bubbles to resume play after a four-month pause. Now, four teams remain, with the Dallas Stars leading the Golden Knights 3-1 and the Tampa Bay Lightning leading the New York Islanders 3-1 in their respective conference finals.
