The New York Islanders lost goaltender Semyon Varlamov and defenceman Robert Bortuzzo to injury in a loss against the Colorado Avalanche on Tuesday.
Varlamov left at 14:52 after making a save, his 11th of the night, and was replaced by Ilya Sorokin.
Varlamov was making his first start in a week and served as Sorokin's backup in a 3-1 loss at Pittsburgh on Sunday night.
Bortuzzo went off after getting checked into the boards by Samuel Girard late in the second period. Bortuzzo got up but could not put weight on his right leg and was helped off the ice and into the locker room.
Islanders coach Lane Lambert told reporters afterward he had no update on either player, per Andrew Gross of Newsday.
Varlamov is 6-4-2 with a 2.78 goals-against average and .918 save percentage this season.
The Islanders acquired Bortuzzo in a trade with the St. Louis Blues last month. He doesn't have a point in 15 games this season.
Wild forward Marcus Foligno did not play in a loss to the Calgary Flames because of a lower-body injury, the team said.
After the game, Wild coach John Hynes told reporters he did not know if it was serious, per Joe Smith of The Athletic.
Foligno has six goals and nine assists in 35 games this season.
Blackhawks forward Anthony Beauvillier exited a loss to Nashville in the second period on Tuesday with an apparent upper-body injury.
Beauvillier was hurt on a hit delivered by Filip Forsberg.
Chicago reporters said he was seen with a brace in the wrist/arm area.
It marked the third straight game in which the Blackhawks lost a forward following injuries to Taylor Raddysh (groin) and Tyler Johnson (foot).
After the game, Blackhawks coach Luke Richardson said Beauvillier will be re-evaluated when the team goes to New York.
Acquired from the Vancouver Canucks earlier this season, Beauvillier has two goals and four assists in 15 games for Chicago.
