The NHL announced Friday that it has postponed the Colorado Avalanche's games through April 20 after a third player entered the league's COVID-19 Protocols.

The Avalanche cancelled their Friday morning skate after someone in the organization tested positive for the novel coronavirus. Forward Joonas Donskoi joined teammates defenceman Bowen Byram and goalie Philipp Grubauer on the league's COVID list Friday.

The Avalanche will see their games on Friday night and Sunday against the Los Angeles Kings moved to a later date, as well as their Tuesday matchup versus the St. Louis Blues.

The NHL expects the Avalanche to be able to resume practising on April 21 with a return to action the following day against the Blues.
