The NHL has postponed a pair of games between the Vegas Golden Knights and San Jose Sharks because four members of the Golden Knights are currently isolating in connection with the league's COVID-19 protocols.

The games currently scheduled for Feb. 1 and Feb. 3 between the two teams will be rescheduled for later in the season in San Jose.

The NHL says three coaches and a player make up the four members of the team currently isolating. Defenceman Alex Pietrangelo was placed on the league's COVID list on Thursday and Vegas's training facilities remain closed.

The decision to postpone next week's games is just the latest as the Golden Knights deal with problems due to COVID-19. On Tuesday, the team was forced to play without its entire coaching staff as GM Kelly McCrimmon and the AHL staff filled in behind the bench.

After that, Thursday night's game between Vegas and the St. Louis Blues was postponed.
