The NHL has postponed the Philadelphia Flyers' matchup against the New York Rangers on Sunday as the team has three players on the league's COVID-19 Protocol list.

Flyers captain Claude Giroux and defenceman Justin Braun were added to the NHL's COVID-19 Protocol list Tuesday after the team's game against the Washington Capitals was postponed.

The pair joined D-man Travis Sanheim, who was added to the list Sunday prior to the game between Philadelphia and Washington, which was allowed to be played after the Flyers' roster returned negative rapid COVID-19 tests.

The NHL says it is expected the Flyers will be able to re-open their practice facilities on Feb. 15.
