The NHL is retesting some of its teams after receiving positive COVID-19 results Tuesday night, per Sportsnet's Elliotte Friedman.

Friedman reports the league, the NHLPA and the teams involved are hoping the results will prove to be false positives. More information is expected on the situation later this afternoon.

David Perron, Jake Walman and Nathan Walker, all of the St. Louis Blues, were the lone players on the NHL's COVID-19 Protocol list as of Tuesday afternoon.
