Ridley Greig's hearing for a punch thrown against the Carolina Hurricanes now has a date.
Greig will have a phone meeting with the NHL on Monday to discuss the punch he threw against Carolina's Sean Walker in Saturday's Game 4.
The incident occurred during a scrum at centre ice in the second period. As Walker was tangled up with Senators forward Warren Foegele, Greig skated over and punched a defenceless Walker in the head.
No penalty was called on the play.
Speaking Monday at the Senators locker clean-out day, Greig expressed remorse for the situation.
"I got to do a better job of controlling my emotions," Greig said.
Greig and the Ottawa Senators were eliminated with a loss in Game 4, so any suspension would count for games played next season.
