The Nasvhille Predators have added some blue-line depth with the signing of Nick Perbix.
The UFA has signed an two-year, $5.5-million deal with the Predators, the team confirmed Tuesday.
Perbix, 27, has spent his entire 220-game NHL career with the Tampa Bay Lightning. He has 13 goals and 50 assists in that time.
The Lightning picked the Minnesota native in the sixth round (169th overall) of the 2017 NHL Draft.
Perbix played four years of NCAA hockey at St. Cloud State before turning pro at the end of the 2021-22 season. He also played for the United States at the 2022 Olympics.
