Brayden McNabb's status heading into a pivotal Game 3 of the Stanley Cup Final remains unclear.
Vegas Golden Knights head coach John Tortorella told reporters on Saturday that he had "no update" on the defenceman, who left Game 2 against the Carolina Hurricanes with an injury.
McNabb took a slapshot from Carolina's Nikolaj Ehlers directly to the face during the opening period and did not return — instead going to a local hospital for evaluation. Vegas would end up losing 4-3 in overtime after blowing a 2-0 lead.
The 35-year-old has played in all but one game this post-season, posting one goal and six assists through his 17 appearances. He racked up three of those helpers in the Golden Knights' Game 1 victory.
Both Vegas and Carolina will look to grab a 2-1 series lead on Saturday, with puck drop set for 8 p.m. ET / 5 p.m. PT on Sportsnet and Sportsnet+.
