Oilers acquire Klim Kostin from Blues for Dmitri Samorukov

The Edmonton Oilers have acquired forward Klim Kostin from the St. Louis Blues in exchange for defenceman Dmitri Samorukov.

Kostin played in 40 games last season, scoring four goals and nine points while also scoring three goals and six points in 17 games with the Blues' AHL affiliate.

The 23-year-old was selected 31st overall in the 2017 NHL Draft and recorded five goals and 11 points in 46 career NHL games with St. Louis.

Kostin will report to the AHL's Bakersfield Condors.
